I am 40 years old and have been working since I was 13. In March of 2008, my then 2 year old, son was taken to the hospital because he was extremely lethargic and not responding to my questions and was immediately taken to the emergency room for treatment...He was taken from Mammoth Hospital in Mammoth Lakes, CA. via Sierra Life Flight to Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. He was critically ill and spent 45 days in the hospital.
I was employed full-time at a local escrow company for the last 6 years...
Now, I have been laid-off and am not sure what to do now! I have been secretly wanting to be able to stay home with my two children, Courtney 13 and Evan 3. So, shouldn't I be excited to be given this opportunity? You would think!
I have not been to work, had to get up and get dressed and get the kids to their destinations in 6 months! Wow! I cannot believe it has been that long! I have cleaned the house, walked the dogs, gone to the park for playdates, gone to the library and done all of the laundry.
I am looking for some type of job that would allow me to spend time with my kids and work..everyone's dream!
Anyone have any ideas? Suggestions?
